A little bit of history
The Trust was set up in 1994 by council tenants on the Stockwell Park Estate, at a time of high crime and poor housing.

- 1994
Residents form a Tenant Management Organisation and register the Trust as a charity, to provide facilities for recreation, relieve poverty, advance education and promote racial harmony.
- 1990s
A £3.5m revenue allowance from Lambeth Council starts the refurbishment of the estate, alongside work to tackle gang violence and drugs.
- Today
The centre at 21 Aytoun Place is open 10am–8pm every day: café, foodbank, internet access, classes, halls for hire and a media studio. An open-door policy, and an LGBTQ+, SEND, neurodivergent and dog friendly space.

The estate is now close to half social and half private housing. Our job is to bring everyone together: regeneration means leaving no one behind.
